Our Roots

Nomadic Heritage
Nomadic tribes of Mongolia
Life around the fire
Cooking over flame and communal dining

-The Year 1206-

In the year 1206, a man named Temüjin was given a new name: Genghis Khan.
In that moment, the scattered nomadic tribes were united for the first time in history.

They gathered around the fire. An ancient form of cooking. Food placed on the hot plate,
given to the flame. Here, we honour that ritual.

At 1206, we return to the fire. Guests gather around the Mongolian grill.

Ingredients are chosen, placed together, and transformed by flame.

1206 marks the beginning of unity. Then, and now. A gathering of people, around one fire.
